FITSPEC

For retailers

List your catalogue. It's free, and it's one URL.

FITSPEC is an Australian index where a buyer picks their exact vehicle — make, model, year, series — and sees every accessory that fits it, across stores. If you sell 4WD, ute or touring gear, your catalogue belongs in that answer. Getting it there costs you nothing and usually takes one email.

What it costs

Nothing, and that isn't a launch special. Stores are listed whether or not they pay us. An index that only shows who's paying is worthless to the person using it, so completeness is the product — that promise is published on our affiliate disclosure, in writing.

If your listings ever send you real volume and you'd like to formalise it, we can talk about an affiliate arrangement then. Nothing changes on your side either way.

What we need from you

A product feed. If you already run Google Shopping, you have one — the URL is the whole job. In order of how little work it is for you:

What the feed needs to carry: title, price, product URL, image URL. Brand, category and stock status help if you have them. The title matters most — fitment is parsed from it, which is what the next section is about.

What your listing looks like

  1. Your photo, hotlinked. Served from your URL, never copied or re-hosted. No image in the feed? The category glyph stands in — no broken tiles.
  2. The fitment state, from your words. "To suit HiLux N80 2015–2018" in your title becomes a confirmed fit for that buyer's vehicle. We parse it; we never rewrite it.
  3. Your name on the claim. Every fitment statement is attributed to the store that published it, on the card and in the listing text.
  4. Your title, your price. As published in the feed, refreshed when you change them.
  5. The click lands on your site. The whole card is one link to your product page. No checkout here, no cart, no re-brokering.

The title tip that helps you either way

Put the vehicle and series in your product titles: "to suit Toyota HiLux N80 2015–2018", not "Deluxe Bull Bar". That's what buyers type, it's what search engines index, and it's what turns your listing from "check fitment" into a confirmed fit here. It's worth doing whether or not you ever send us a feed.

Why bother

The longer version is on how it works, but in short: everyone who reaches your product page from here has already picked their exact vehicle and seen your listing suits it. They're mid-build with a job in mind, not price-shopping a category. And because we track what buyers search for against what's listed, we can tell you where demand exists that your catalogue doesn't cover yet.

Get listed

Email the feed URL — or just the name of your store, and we'll take it from there. You'll get a reply from Ben, the person who runs the site.
